Two orphaned Russian siblings Kelly and Cloe, known in Russia as Anastasia and Svetlana Klimov, have been temporarily placed with a new US foster family, after years of abuse by their adopted American parents.
The announcement was made today by Diane Black, a psychotherapist and human rights lawyer who has been working on this case since she was alerted to the abuse the children suffered at the hands of Michael and Penny Deckert from Texas.
Ms. Black said she called up the girls today to check if everything was fine, and there were tears of happiness in their voice as they repeated “thank you, thank you, thank you.” The human rights activist said she hoped adopted Anastasia and Svetlana found a home at last.

Sadly the boy is still missing, but the girls have been relieved of a life of abuse. Lets hope the boy is found before it is too late…
