Two citizens of Russia and Armenia have been arrested on the Georgian border, at Sadakhlo border check-point, Georgia Online reports. Georgia’s finance ministry income service informed that they have been arrested for gold smuggling. The smuggled gold was transported from Armenia. According to the information, gold costing 29,691 Georgian laris ($17,800) was found in the luggage of Russian citizen and costing 21,512 laris ($12,900) in the luggage of an Armenian citizen. The investigation is under way.
