MOSCOW, February 7 (RIA Novosti) – A Russian satanist has been jailed for 12 years for murdering a fellow sect member during a ritual near Moscow, a court said Friday.
During a ceremony in May 2011, the man tied up his victim and beat him with sticks. He then went on to strangle the sect member to death, investigators said.
The man pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
Another occult group member was charged last March with murdering a man in a cemetery near Moscow and cutting a swastika into his forehead.
