Over 168000 affected by floods in Russia’s Far East

BLAGOVESHCHENSK, October 15 (Itar-Tass) – A total of 168,000 people have been affected by devastating floods in Russia’s Far East, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev has said. “In three regions of the Far East (the Amur Region, Jewish Autonomous Region and the Khabarovsk Territory) a total of 168,119 people have been affected by floods,” Trutnev said on Tuesday at a meeting of the government commission for eliminating the effects of floods in the Far East.
