Putin to Meet with Serbian President

MOSCOW, May 24 (RIA Novosti) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi on Friday, the Kremlin reported.

Nikolic will pay a working visit to Russia on Putin’s invitation.

The Kremlin said the heads of state are set to sign a declaration on strategic partnership that will define the key directions for the development of bilateral ties.

Russia-Serbia trade in 2012 totaled $1.7 billion. The countries also cooperate in the energy sphere, tourism, metallurgy and other areas.
