Quake Shakes Russian Kamchatka

Moscow, Feb 28 (Prensa Latina) The epicenter of an earthquake of 6.3 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded today 274 km south-southwest of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia, without causing human or material damage, informed the Regional Ministry of Emergency Situations. The temblor’s epicenter was located 69 miles under the sea, waking up the residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Viliuchinsk and Elizovo, at 02:15 local time, according to a report by Russia 24 channel.
