Russia Leads Economic Growth in G-8

Moscow, Feb 21 (Prensa Latina) Russia registered in 2012 the highest economic growth in the G-8, group of the eight most industrialized countries, with 3,4 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), stated today the National Committee of Statistics (Rosstat). According to the source, the European country is also the leader in the G-20, though it lost ground due to the rise of inflation (6.6 percent), the highest reported in the period.
