MOSCOW, July 8 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia may take part in the construction of a nuclear power plant in Jordan, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“In fact, Arab countries are still showing an obvious interest in high-tech cooperation with Russia. For instance, the involvement of Russia’s Atomstroyexport in the construction of a nuclear power plant in Jordan is being considered,” he said.

“Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait are interested in cooperation in atomic energy and space exploration, including the linking to the Russian Glonass navigation satellite system,” he said.
