Russian Businessman Shot 16 Times, Lives

A businessman in the Russian city of Volgograd was targeted by an unknown attacker and received 16 bullet wounds.

The incident happened late on March 7 when the 49-year-old businessman, whose identity was not revealed, was driving in Volgograd.

A spokeswoman for the Volgograd Investigative Committee, Natalia Kunitskaya, said the attacker fired a Kalashnikov automatic weapon at the man before fleeing the scene.

Kunitskaya said most of the bullets hit the businessman in the left arm and left leg.

Police are searching for the assailant.
