Russian Investigators Ask for Georgian Politician’s Arrest

MOSCOW, February 20 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s Investigative Committee has asked a court to arrest a Georgian politician that Russian investigators have charged with plotting mass riots, the committee reported. “In case the court grants the request, investigators will immediately send the court ruling to inquiry bodies to have the accused, [Givi] Targamadze, put on an international wanted list, arrested and extradited to investigators,” the committee said Tuesday.
