Russian lifter Tatiana Kashirina won the gold at the women’s over 75-kilogram catagory competition of the World Weightlifting Championships on Saturday.The 22-year-old Russian managed 142kg in the snatch, and then lifted a world record-breaking 190kg in the clean and jerk to end the competition with a total of 332kg. The former world record of clean and jerk is 188kg made by Chinese lifter Meng Suping in November, 2012.Kashirina suggested she could have broken the total world record of 333kg if she had lifted more in snatch.
