MOSCOW, May 14 (RIA Novosti) – A teenager in the Russian city of Chita, in east Siberia, survived after attempting a suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of a residential apartment building, the Transbaikal police department said in a statement.
According to the statement, the 15-year-old boy attempted a suicide after his parents allegedly forbid him watching videos on Internet.
“The teenager jumped out of a window of his apartments on the tenth floor of the building on the Krasnoarmeiskaya street. He landed on a tree and got stuck in the branches,” the statement said.
The teenager was hospitalized in an intensive care ward as he sustained severe injuries after the fall, the police added.
