The process of privatizing the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC could get underway in 2016, a time when the company plans to be at the peak of its development.
UVZ’s press office told RusBusinessNews that discussions were held in Sochi at the Eighth International Strategic Partnership 1520 Forum regarding plans for the corporation to emerge from its government-owned status. During those talks, Oleg Sienko, the general director of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation, OJSC confirmed the existence of a road map for the privatization of UVZ.
“I think we’ll hit the peak of our development in 2016. When a corporation’s financial numbers increase three-fold, investors consider it a stable player, and thus it becomes more attractive,” noted Mr. Sienko.
