In 2012, Azot, a subsidiary of UCC URALCHEM, OJSC, manufactured 2.05 million tons of finished products – which is 2.2% more than in 2011.

The company’s press office told RusBusinessNews that 1.05 million tons of ammonium nitrate were produced, as well as 494.2 thousand tons of carbamide, and 156.5 thousand tons of modified porous ammonium nitrate. The biggest jump was seen in the output of technical liquid ammonia, which went up by 38.2% to 165.6 thousand tons.

UCC URALCHEM, OJSC is one of the largest companies serving the nitrogen- and phosphate-fertilizer market in Russia and the CIS. Its subsidiaries produce over 2.5 million tons of ammonium nitrate, 2.8 million tons of ammonia, 0.8 million tons of monoammonium and diammonium phosphates, 0.8 million tons of compound fertilizers, and 1.2 million tons of carbamide every year.
