The Order of Victory and the Order of Glory military decorations were established in the Soviet Union, 70 years ago today on Nov. 8, 1943. The former was the highest award that could be attained and was given out only to marshals and generals. The honor was bestowed upon Josef Stalin and Marshal Georgy Zhukov.
