As the Jan. 15 exit deadline for the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) is nearing, the withdrawal of its arms monitors and other supporting staffs from its cantonments started on Thursday, leaving behind only minimum field staff to monitor Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) ( UCPN-M) combatants.
