Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will begin on Friday his two-day official visit to Ukraine upon an invitation from his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovych, the Armenian presidential press service said.
During the visit, Sargsyan is scheduled to meet with Yanukovych, Chairman of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn and acting Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev and will visit the Ukrainian Trade and Industry Chamber.
“The presidents of Armenia and Ukraine will also hold a joint news conference, where they will sum up the results of their talks,” the press service said.
President Sargsyan will be accompanied by a delegation that includes other Armenian officials and culture activists. They will participate in various events dedicated to the Days of Armenian Culture in Ukraine, running between June 30 and July 5.
