The Austrian Doppelmayr Group has been awarded the contract for a tri-cable ropeway – so far the longest in the world – in the Russian Olympic location of Sochi, for the Winter Games of 2014. The installation leads from Krasnaya Polyana to the ski complex “;Laura”; at a height of 1600 meters above sea level.
