Four people were injured, at least two of them seriously, when a BMW X5 car crashed into a bus stop in central Moscow early on Wednesday, a police source said.
The driver, who had been trapped inside the crumpled car until police arrived, is in a grave condition.
Two passengers of the car and a female passerby were the other three injured, a police officer working at the scene said.
The woman received a serious head injury and has suffered a major blood loss, her husband said.
The accident occurred soon after 1 am (21:00 GMT). At least three other cars parked nearby, including a Porsche Cayenne, were also damaged in the crash.
