The government is discussing a new name for what are now called “national conflicts”. They could soon instead be termed “ethnic conflicts”.

The aim is to put an end to confusion when the word “national” is attributed both to the country and separate groups inhabiting it.

According to media reports, a draft law has already been made by the Ministry of Regional Development. If adopted, changes will have to be made to dozens of other laws.
