Over Hundred Evacuated From House On Fire In East Siberia

MOSCOW, January 21 (RIA Novosti) – A total of 140 people have been evacuated from a residential building on fire in the Russian city of Chita in east Siberia, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported on Monday.

No one was injured in the incident that occurred on Sunday evening.

The building is believed to have caught fire when someone left a burning cigarette in the storeroom. An investigation is underway.
