MOSCOW, December 2 (RIA Novosti) – Police have uncovered an arms cache with Kalashnikov assault rifles and police uniforms in a garage outside Moscow, the Interior Ministry’s press office reported on Sunday.
The arms arsenal was uncovered in the town of Klin, located some 85 km (53 miles) northwest of Moscow, on Saturday afternoon.
The hideout contained several Kalashnikov assault rifles with ammunition, police uniforms and camouflage face masks. The garage was rented out by a local resident to an unidentified person.
An investigation is under way.
