Construction works on the highway leading to Domodedovo Airport have been postponed until the end of the holiday season.
The decision has been made in order not to disturb millions of people currently going on summer holidays.
Still, highway authorities say the works will not lead to a transportation collapse, as happened with a highway leading to Sheremetyevo airport.
They promise cars will have enough space to move without creating a traffic jam.
Passengers are now asked to set out for Domodedovo early, to search for alternate routes or to use AeroExpress train running from Paveletsky train station straight to the airport.
The day when construction will resume will be announced next week.
