Russia Delays Missions To, From Space Station

Russia has delayed the launch of its next manned mission to the International Space Station (ISS), after an unmanned cargo vessel crashed following its launch last week.

Officials told Russian media that the launch, initially scheduled for September 22, will happen in late October at the earliest.

Officials said the return of the three crew members from the space station will also be delayed to September 16, instead of September 8.

Investigators say they want to determine the cause of last week’s crash before launching further flights.

The Russian space agency Roscosmos also announced a full review of its rockets.
