Russia Registers New Unemployment Cases

Moscow, Feb 19 (Prensa Latina) Russia added almost 650,000 new cases to the official records on unemployment, which now represent an increase of 17.1 percent compared to December 2012 as reported by the National Statistics Committee (Rosstat) Tuesday. At the end of January, 4.5 million Russian citizens were in the reports on unemployment, 6 percent of the economically active population.
