MOSCOW — Moscow police on Tuesday were searching for a suspected drug dealer who fled police custody and remained at large after exchanging clothes with his brother, Interfax reported.

Police said the suspect, Farukh Doshmanov, escaped from detention center No. 3, located at 11 Pervy Silikatny Proyezd, near the Bogovaya metro station in northern Moscow.

Police discovered Doshmanov was gone after he failed to show up for the evening roll call at 10:40 p.m. Monday.

The fugitive was able to walk out of the building after exchanging clothes with his brother, who visited him earlier that day, Interfax reported, citing an unidentified police official.
