Two Croatian citizens detained at MAKS for barred zone photographing

MOSCOW, August 19 (Itar-Tass) —— Two Croatian citizens are detained at the MAKS air show in Zhukovsky for photographing aerodrome facilities, a source at the Moscow regional police department told Itar-Tass on Friday.

Policemen in a restricted zone detained two citizens of Croatia, who photographed aerodrome facilities, the source said.

The two are handed over to the Federal Security Service’s Department for Moscow and the Moscow Region.

They are not the first foreigners detained at the MAKS show for violating the regulations for presence in a restricted area. On Wednesday, policemen handed over an Argentinean photographer to security services.

A total of more than 20 people were detained at the MAKS site the last day for theft and violation of the pass regulations. When patrolling the territory of the Gromov Institute, policemen overnight detained two people at a booth who stole food products from a refrigerator.

Besides, 22 people were detained in Zhukovsky for appearance at a public place in a drunken state.
