MOSCOW, July 20 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s military exports in 2011 will exceed 11 billion U.S. dollars, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Director Mikhail Dmitriyev said on Wednesday, July 20.
“We have made 64 percent of export arms supplies [scheduled for this year]. And there is no doubt that we will meet the target figures and bring arms exports to over 11 billion U.S. dollars this year,” he said.
Russia cooperates with 82 countries in terms of arms exports and “with 50 of them very actively”, Dmitriyev said, adding that Equatorial Guinea has been added to the list this year.
