BEIRUT – Libyan insurgents continue street fighting in Zliten, 160 kilometres away from Tripoli. The insurgency of Muammar Gaddafi’s supporters has been stemmed in Benghazi.
BRUSSELS – Fighter jets of the Royal Norwegian Air Force end their participation in the NATO operation in Libya and return to their base in Northern Norway. NATO will continue the operation to the bitter end, a source from the NATO headquarters told Tass.
