In the third quarter of 2013, the VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, OJSC will deliver the titanium parts and materials ordered by India’s LT shipbuilding company.
The corporation’s press office told RusBusinessNews that negotiations with the Indian firm regarding the fulfillment of a contract were conducted at the international SMM India 2013 exhibit in Mumbai.
VSMPO-AVISMA is interested in expanding its partnerships with India, a country that is working to regain its status as a major global maritime power. In particular, the state firm LT plans to build a series of nuclear submarines using parts made of titanium alloys.
