In Egypt the Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) may postpone the presidential elections until mid-2012, Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper reported Sunday.
Presidential elections were expected to take place by the end of 2011.
According to the newspaper, the Council expects that by June 2012 the new Constitution will be drafted.
The Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) has been ruling Egypt since the resignation of former President Hosni Mubarak on 11 February.
