NATO expects Russian helicopters to be supplied to Afghanistan soon, NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said after a session of NATO countries’ defense ministers on Friday. Mr. Rasmussen also thanked Russia for allowing NATO non-military cargos’ transits to Afghanistan across Russia’s territory. Russia is to supply 21 MI-8 helicopters to Afghanistan.
