Iranian authorities have reprieved a death penalty to Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani who was found guilty of killing her husband. This was revealed by the Chairperson of the Iranian Parliament’s Human Rights Committee Zohreh Elahian. The death penalty was reprieved after the killed man’s relatives announced that they had forgiven the murderer.
