The Russian Biathlon Union has sacked the coach the national women’s biathlon team Anatoli Khovantsev. The decision follows a shabby show at the world championship in Khanty-Mansiysk in Western Siberia. In a relay race there Sunday, Russian women came ninth. The podium went to Germany, Ukraine and France.
