Russia’s trade and sanitary inspection authority (Rospotrebnadzor) has urged citizens to refrain from buying and consuming German food products after poultry and cattle feed at that country’s farms was contaminated by dioxin last week. This highly toxic substance was found in eggs, milk and meat produced in Germany’s northwestern regions.
