The Russian Emergencies Ministry is sending its firefighting planes to Israel on instructions from President Dmitry Medvedev. According to a spokesperson for the Emergencies Ministry Irina Andrianova, an Il-76 plane is due to take off later today, a plane that’s capable of throwing 42 tons of water on hot spots.
