10 killed by floods in Brazil

 At least ten people were killed in torrential rains in southern Brazil. The downpours caused flooding, landslides and destroyed roads in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Parana.

  More than 21 thousand people were evacuated. Two remain unaccounted for. In total, according to authorities, the disaster affected up to 60 thousand people.
