Leader of breakaway Abkhazia, Alexander Ankvab, started his working visit to Moscow on Monday, Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress, reported. Ankvab is scheduled to meet Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on March 12, according to Kremlin. Meanwhile in Abkhazia, Ankvab has recently faced opposition’s protest rally following a decision of the breakaway region’s government to double electricity tariffs starting from January.
