About 200 passengers of bankrupt airline stranded at Anapa Airport

KRASNODAR, July 29 (Itar-Tass) —— About 200 passengers of the Continent airline are stranded at the Anapa Airport as the airline has announced its bankruptcy and cancelled all flights, a source at the Krasnodar territorial administration told Itar-Tass.

Krasnodar Vice-Governor Vadim Lukoyanov, who is in charge of transport issues, arrived in Anapa to hold an urgent meeting at the airport building. The passengers attended the meeting, too.

It was decided to accommodate the passengers at Anapa hotels until Saturday morning and to provide them with hot food.

“All these people will fly home onboard jets of other airlines,” Lukoyanov told Itar-Tass.

There is information that Continent passengers encountered similar problems in Sochi, Gelendzhik and Krasnodar.
