Animal news: Meerkats born, lion rescued
22:03 25/03/2011 Three Meerkat pups were born at the Royev Ruchei Zoo in Krasnoyarsk. As a rule Meerkats are loving parents who take good care of their pups. This time, though, the mother refused to feed them. Specialists say this happened because the mother is too young and it was her first litter. So, the zookeepers took upon themselves to care for the pups.
