Armenian PM sets off for two-day official visit to Belarus

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisyan arrives in Belarus on Wednesday for a two-day official visit, Armenia’s government press service said.

Sarkisyan is scheduled to hold talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich and Trade Minister Valentin Chekanov.

On Thursday, the Armenian prime minister will take part in a session of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) heads of governments council and in a session of the Eurasec Interstate Council.

Sarkisyan will also visit the Park of High Technologies in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and will lay a wreath to the Monument of Victory.

During the visit the prime minister will be accompanied by a delegation of Armenian officials, including Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, Emergencies Minister Armen Yeritsyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan.
