The Russian Handicraft Industry Days festival opened May 18 near Moscow’s Red Square. Artisans have come from 40 Russian regions to show their handiwork. Master classes on various types of applied decorative art will be held for everyone interested. The finest local performers, music-college students and folk-art groups will also entertain audiences at an open-air site daily from 16:00 till 19:00. The fair will last until June 18.
