At least seven people were injured in a blast that hit Turkey’s largest city of Istanbul early on Thursday, local media reported.
According to preliminary information, the blast went off at 9:00 am local time (06:00 GMT) at a bus station near a shopping mall, hotel and bank.
The Haberturk TV channel said the explosive device was reportedly thrown by a motorcyclist. The type and power of the explosive device has yet to be determined. Police have cordoned off the scene of the blast.
No group has as yet taken responsibility for the attack.
