A cat has been evicted from a hostel in Russia’s north-western Komi Republic.
The feline squatter was occupying a room there illegally.
The place was registered to a woman and her daughter who moved out two years ago and left the cat behind.
The mother decided the cat was too bad-tempered to take anywhere else. All the same, she did not abandon it entirely, returning regularly to feed it.
Now she will have to find a new place for the moody moggy.
