Chief of the municipal tax office of the North Caucasus city of Khasavyurt Yakub Nutsalov was shot dead near his home on Sunday, police spokesman said.
“Unidentified assailants shot at Nutsalov and his bodyguard,” the spokesman said. Nutsalov died at the scene, the bodyguard received injuries and was taken to hospital. He is now on intensive care
Investigators are scouring the scene.
