Russian football Premier League has resumed after a month-long break with a postponed match between leaders CSKA and newboys Volga.
Despite an early rally by the home team the Muscovites didn’t flinch and later proved they are clearly one of the strongest teams in Russia at the moment.
Vagner Love opened the score in the middle of the first half in what some would say a purely Brazilian style after dribbling the goalkeeper and chipping the ball over the defender.
Second half saw the Armymen continue applying pressure resulting in Vagner scoring his second after finding himself alone in front of the keeper.
CSKA are now on a six-match winning streak, seven points ahead of nearest rivals Zenit.
