Dmitry Medvedev made a number appointments to senior posts within Interior Ministry

Dmitry Medvedev signed Executive Order On Awarding Special Senior Rank to the Russian Federation Interior Ministry Officer and Appointments of the Russian Federation Interior Ministry Officers.

In accordance with the Federal Law On the Police Force, the President awarded the special rank of police major general to militia major general Mikhail Borodin. 

President Medvedev appointed police major general Mikhail Borodin to the post of head of the Main Department of the Interior for Sverdlovsk Region, and police colonel Alexander Sidorenko to the post of head of the Main Department of the Interior for Kamchatka Territory.
