The Egyptian opposition has created was it calls a Confidential Council for coordinating demonstrations and rallies and conducting talks with the authorities. The Council has already advised the demonstrators in central Cairo to return to work or go home. At the same time, it has warned the government of further protests if the opposition’s demands are not met.
