Moscow, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) The advisor to the Russian president on economic affairs, Elvira Nabiullina, is among the candidates to replace the incumbent chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, Sergei Ignatiev, whose mandate will expire this summer, local media reported on Monday. The newspaper Izvestia noted that the former minister of Economic Development seems to be the main candidate to head Russia’s issuing bank, according to the debates within the government.
