Fukushima-grown foods outlawed

The consumer protection agency of Japan has banned the marketing of foods produced in the Fukushima Prefecture that hosts the crippled nuclear power station.

This follows the discovery of higher than normal radiation levels in milk and spinach from the Fukushima area.

Authorities are enforcing a 20-kilometre evacuation radius and a 30-kilometre no-fly zone around the Fukushima station.
